Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced parts counter associate to join our team. Parts Associates are responsible for handling retail and wholesale parts needs at the counter for internal and external demands, including telephone inquiries and requests. Parts associates will also assist in maintaining inventory and supplies as necessary. Job Responsibilities Sell parts to meet departmental production and profitability goals Issue parts and accessories to mechanics from the parts counter. Provide delivery service of orders using parts truck. Display seasonal parts and accessories in an attractive manner. Control files, reference books, and other paperwork at the parts counter Orders out-of-stock parts requested by customers, maintain customer back order file. Maintain master parts and price book, read appropriate manuals to ascertain type and specification of part. Receive original and duplicate copies of repair orders from dispatcher and place in order file. Places special orders for parts. Provides pricing and product information to customers. Assists in taking inventory. Maintains Customer Satisfaction scores at or above dealership standards. Answers telephone promptly and consistent with dealership guidelines. We are seeking a candidate with a customer focused attitude. Familiarity with parts and inventory status is a must. Computer skills are required.
Requirements:
Prior Ford, Chevy or GMC parts advisor experience helpful Tekion experience helpful Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment Strong organizational and time management skills are required Detail-oriented, professional appearance and strong work ethic are required Must have computer proficiency. Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service Valid D/L, willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background checks Koch 33 Auto's Commitment to
