  • 4:30pm with working one Saturday per month.
Summary Ships and receives all incoming orders and parts in a timely manner. Sells parts to all customers, over the counter, through the shop or on the phone. Perform deliveries to wholesale customers. Essential Duties Checks in stock orders and special orders daily. Assembles and prepares orders for shipment and delivery. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, reject damaged items, records shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet requirements. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials according to orders. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, delivery area, and workstations neat; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Assists all customers (retail, wholesale, and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line. Answers phone calls, provide price quotes and other information. Provides high level of service to internal and external customers. Pull and fills orders from stock. Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention. Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary. Notify the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received. Pulls orders for delivery to body shop, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number. Follows up on back-ordered parts. Assist outside sales representatives with their orders. Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on repair order. Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization. Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer. Ensure that all customers receive their copy of the invoice. Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special-order parts. Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up. Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered. Cleans computer terminals and printers daily. Participates in all training programs that are made available. Maintains professional appearance. Other tasks as assigned.
