Job Description

United Talent Staffing is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Parts Counter Specialist for an established company in the Uniontown, PA area. The ideal candidate will have previous parts experience or a strong mechanical mindset, excellent computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Pay & Schedule Pay:
$17.00-$18.00 per hour, based on experience
Regular Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Saturday Schedule:
A few Saturdays per month, 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Employees scheduled on Saturday will receive a day off during the week Responsibilities Assist customers in person and over the phone with identifying and ordering the correct parts Research parts using computerized systems, catalogs, and diagrams Process customer orders, quotes, payments, returns, and special orders Answer questions and provide helpful product recommendations Check pricing, availability, and order status Communicate with vendors and follow up on backordered items Receive, organize, and stock incoming inventory Maintain accurate inventory and customer records Keep the parts counter and inventory areas organized Work closely with customers, service personnel, and other team members Manage multiple customers and responsibilities while maintaining accuracy Qualifications Previous parts counter, parts sales, automotive, equipment, or industrial experience is preferred Candidates with strong mechanical knowledge or aptitude will also be considered Strong computer and data-entry skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Comfortable learning part numbers, inventory systems, and product information Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team Ability to safely lift and move parts or inventory as needed
