Parts Clerk Job Description The Parts Clerk plays a crucial role in managing inventory levels by receiving parts and materials, updating inventory records, and distributing items to employees as required. The clerk ensures accurate tracking by entering incoming materials into the company's database and recording movements of parts to production areas. Responsibilities Receive materials and parts into the facility. Maintain and update inventory records. Dispense parts and materials to employees when needed. Enter incoming materials into the company's database. Record movements of parts to production areas to maintain accurate inventory levels. Essential Skills Proficiency in inventory management and data entry. Strong customer service skills. Ability to operate a forklift. Experience in parts inventory management. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with forklift operation. Knowledge in shipping and receiving procedures. Work Environment The role requires working in the elements on the ports during the 2nd shift, which is from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday to Friday. There is also a mandatory half shift on Saturdays from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Savannah, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $52000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
