Position Summary:
The Aircraft Records Clerk plays a crucial role in filing and maintaining the maintenance records of aircraft to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards. The Aircraft Records clerk must be a self-motivated person inbound maintenance records are reviewed and filed in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be an individual who has a proven track record as an employee with strong organizational skills. Professional appearance and demeanor are a must at all times. A working knowledge of Tri State maintenance procedures and ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite is required along with good written and verbal communication skills. Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
  • Maintain and update aircraft maintenance logs and records.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of maintenance records and reports.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to obtain necessary documentation.
  • Assist in audits and inspections related to aircraft maintenance records.
  • Monitor and manage the electronic database of aircraft records.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of data into maintenance management systems.
  • Support the development and implementation of record-keeping procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies in maintenance records.
  • Provide administrative support to the maintenance department as needed Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with electronic record-keeping systems
Skills/Competencies:
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and databases.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures.
  • Competence in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to pass background checks and obtain security clearance, if required.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
