Job Description

Position Summary:
The Central Stores Clerk is responsible for supporting the maintenance and operations teams by managing inventory, issuing parts, maintaining accurate stock levels, and ensuring maintenance personnel have the materials needed to support production. This position works heavily within the storeroom environment and utilizes SAP to track inventory, issue parts against work orders, perform cycle counts, and coordinate repair orders.
Pay:
$23.70 - $25/hr
Responsibilities:
Manage MRO inventory and warehouse stock Issue parts against maintenance work orders Maintain accurate inventory levels using SAP Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits Monitor incoming purchase orders and backordered items Coordinate repairs of repairable maintenance parts Work with purchasing to identify cost savings Maintain inventory accuracy for: Maintenance repair parts Process support materials PPE Consumables Specialty maintenance tools Support production by ensuring parts availability Operate a forklift as needed Maintain an organized, safe warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Manufacturing experience Maintenance storeroom experience Warehouse or inventory control experience SAP experience preferred Forklift certification preferred Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word) Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting Experience with MRO inventory preferred
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM 8-hour shifts
Pay:
$23.70 - $25.00 per hour
