Parts Warehouse - BMT CDJR Doggett Auto Beaumont, TX Job Details $16 - $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Maintaining an organized workspace Full Job Description Parts Warehouse Classification Non-Exempt Job Summary The role of Parts Warehouse is to perform a variety of tasks in receiving and shipping parts and maintaining / organizing the warehouse area. Essential Functions Receive shipped parts, make sure they are received in good condition and that packing slips for inventory control Pack and ship parts to both customers and suppliers in the most efficient manner Maintains a log of all outgoing shipments, all shipping and receiving damages or shortages as well as other documents necessary to protect the inventory investment Stock all parts into the proper location in the parts warehouse after they have been checked in Operate a forklift truck Keep all bins, aisles, and storage areas clean, neat, and clearly labeled Assist the Warranty Administrator and Inventory Coordinator when needed Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications One-year parts/warehouse related experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have good organizational skills Computer skills preferred Knowledge of company specific software Typical Physical Activity While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to occasionally lift 75 pounds from floor to chest; reach and use the arms with a full range of motion; endure prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and squatting while performing mechanical operations; exert push and pull forces with the arms in order to use various wrenches and tools; endure prolonged forward and overhead arm positions while performing mechanical operations; use hands to grasp hand tools and parts and climb onto and operate equipment. Typical Environmental Conditions Employees regularly work indoors around moving mechanical parts. May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity. The noise level may be loud at times. Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment. Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment. Required to perform work in cramped spaces and/or high places.
