Position Summary:

As a Parts Counter Salesperson , you will assist customers and service technicians in locating and purchasing the correct automotive parts. Your role will be crucial in maintaining an efficient and well-stocked parts department while ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and selecting the correct vehicle parts. Look up part numbers and availability in the inventory system. Process parts sales transactions and provide accurate pricing and estimates. Maintain an organized and well-stocked parts inventory. Place orders for out-of-stock or special-order parts as needed. Receive and inspect incoming shipments of parts, ensuring accuracy and quality. Provide knowledgeable advice on parts compatibility and vehicle applications. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any parts-related concerns in a professional manner. Work closely with the service and sales departments to fulfill internal parts needs. Previous experience in the automotive parts department or retail parts sales preferred.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with inventory and point-of-sale software. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift/move heavy parts when necessary. Valid driver's license.
