Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Parts and Maintenance Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage parts inventory, coordinate maintenance activities. Your expertise in inventory management, and supply chain logistics will drive efficiency and reliability across our fleet services. Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software, ensuring parts availability aligns with operational needs. Manage parts sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationships to secure quality automotive parts and accessories at competitive prices. Oversee shipping & receiving processes, verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness. Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules, including scheduling repairs and tracking service history using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Support demand planning by monitoring inventory levels, forecasting parts requirements, and adjusting stock levels accordingly. Assist with parts administration tasks such as data entry, order management, and pricing updates to optimize procurement efficiency. Collaborate with internal teams on logistics inventory management, parts sourcing, and customer service to ensure timely delivery of parts and services. Requirements Familiarity with inventory management systems and order management systems. Ability to operate forklifts safely. Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes. Effective internal communication skills to coordinate with maintenance teams, procurement departments, and logistics personnel. Customer service orientation with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
