Overview:
Maintenance Clerk - Full‑Time /
Hourly Reports To:
Maintenance Manager ️ Job Overview The Maintenance Clerk provides administrative and operational support to the Maintenance Department through inventory control, purchasing coordination, preventive maintenance administration, service scheduling, and facility support activities. Key Duties Maintenance Parts Ordering — Order maintenance parts, supplies, and materials as required. Supplier Coordination — Obtain quotations, pricing, and follow up on orders and deliveries. Purchasing Administration — Create purchase requisitions and coordinate procurement activities. Receiving & Inspection — Receive, inspect, and verify incoming maintenance parts and supplies. Inventory Management — Maintain organized storage locations, perform cycle counts, track inventory, and report discrepancies. Preventive Maintenance Records — Log and maintain PM paperwork and maintenance records. PM Scheduling Support — Track and assist with preventive maintenance scheduling. Downtime Tracking — Record equipment downtime information. Service Provider Coordination — Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled service providers. Administrative Support — Support general maintenance administrative functions. Perform additional duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with inventory tracking, purchasing, and recordkeeping preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Team‑oriented mindset High School Diploma or equivalent required Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (heavier loads with assistance) Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and machinery exposure
