THE OPPORTUNITY
The Company is seeking a customer-focused Spare Parts Coordinator to research, quote, source, order, and coordinate delivery of spare and replacement parts for compression, processing, power-generation, and related energy-infrastructure equipment. This role connects customers, field service, warehouses, buyers, suppliers, logistics providers, and Finance to deliver accurate parts identification, competitive quotations, dependable order status, and timely fulfillment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Respond to customer and internal requests for spare, replacement, repair, and consumable parts. Research serial numbers, bills of material, drawings, manuals, equipment records, prior orders, and supplier information to identify correct parts and configurations. Prepare accurate quotations covering part details, pricing, availability, lead time, freight assumptions, validity, and commercial terms. Identify obsolete or unavailable items and coordinate acceptable alternatives with Engineering, Product Support, vendors, and customers. Create and maintain customer records, quotations, sales orders, requisitions, purchase orders, delivery details, and related SAP documentation. Monitor open orders and backorders, expedite critical items, coordinate fulfillment, and communicate delays, shortages, damage, tracking, and recovery plans. Process returns, repairs, warranties, exchanges, credits, and claims; verify billing and freight details and support inventory planning and reconciliation.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
High school diploma or GED and 3+ years in spare parts, parts sales, aftermarket service, customer service, purchasing, inventory, or industrial equipment. Experience identifying parts through bills of material, drawings, manuals, serial numbers, catalogs, and order history. Knowledge of quotations, sales and purchase orders, acknowledgements, delivery records, returns, warranties, and credits. Proficiency with SAP or a comparable ERP system and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong organization, prioritization, follow-through, communication, customer service, and attention to transactional detail. Ability to investigate order and inventory issues, evaluate alternatives, and drive timely resolution with limited supervision.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
Associate degree, technical diploma, or certificate in business, supply chain, parts management, industrial technology, or a related discipline. Experience with compression, gas processing, power generation, rotating equipment, engines, controls, OEM catalogs, and repair programs. Knowledge of demand planning, reorder points, cycle counts, stock optimization, aftermarket margins, freight, CRM/WMS tools, or supplier portals.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Work authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The Company is unable to consider candidates who require visa sponsorship or transfer of an existing visa. Primarily office-based with periodic work in warehouses, parts rooms, shipping/receiving areas, shops, and industrial facilities. Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds and required PPE may apply during warehouse or site activity.
