JOB SUMMARY:

Prepares and makes ready materials and parts for painters.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

: Locate parts to wash, phosphate parts and hang parts. Mask and plug parts required per print requirements. Hang parts that are to be painted and unmask/unplug parts after painting has cured. Bead blast parts as required/or as needed. Clean and wrap poles in foil as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the paint department areas and as needed. Must maintain proper paperwork in the computer for finalizing and tracking of parts. Assist Paint Shop Manager and painters with additional needs as requested or required.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to listen effectively and follow instruction. Good mechanical skills. Have high school level mathematical skills. Have an acute attention to detail. Ability to learn to read mechanical drawings. Must be a team player and willing to work long hours in hot and wet conditions.
