About V-Bar Equipment V-Bar Equipment is a family-owned equipment dealership specializing in equipment sales, rentals, parts, and service. With locations in Dallas, Abilene, and Lubbock, Texas, we're committed to providing exceptional customer service, dependable equipment, and long-term relationships with our customers. We're looking for a motivated, dependable Parts Associate to join our Lubbock team. This position plays an important role in keeping our customers' equipment running and supporting our service department with the parts they need to get the job done. Position Overview The Parts Associate will be responsible for assisting customers and service technicians with identifying, ordering, receiving, and distributing equipment parts. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for forklifts, telehandlers, aerial lifts, and other equipment. Process parts orders, prepare quotes, and follow up with customers and vendors. Maintain accurate parts inventory, including receiving, stocking, labeling, and organizing parts. Work closely with the service department to ensure technicians receive the correct parts in a timely manner. Research parts availability, pricing, and alternative sourcing options. Build strong relationships with customers and identify opportunities to increase parts sales. Handle shipping, receiving, and returns, including warranty parts. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department. Assist with inventory counts and other daily branch operations as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in equipment, automotive, agricultural, or industrial parts is preferred. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with forklifts, construction equipment, or material handling equipment is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Comfortable using computers, inventory management systems, and electronic parts catalogs. Ability to multitask and prioritize customer and technician needs. Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities. Ability to lift and handle parts and materials as required.
