Inventory Management:
Parts Clerks receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts and supplies, verifying quantities and specifications against purchase orders. Maintain accurate records of inventory Perform regular stock checks Organize parts in storage areas to ensure items are easily accessible and properly labeled Issue parts to technicians. Document transactions in inventory systems, and prepare orders for replenishment. Clerks monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to prevent shortages, ensuring that required parts are always available for operational needs Maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures and goods used or issued Maintain accurate records of damaged/used parts and process appropriate dispositions of the parts. Drive fork-lift equipment/truck in order to pick up incoming stock or deliver parts to designated locations Provide information when communicating with Supervisors or co-workers by telephone, in written form, email or in person. Dispose of damaged or defective items, or return the damaged or defective items to the vendor Performing general physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and whole body movements while handling stockroom parts A good understanding of the machinery and automotive industry related to diesel equipment and more.
Qualifications Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
Skills Required:
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills for accurate inventory management Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer and technician interactions Technical knowledge of parts and components relevant to the industry Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer skills Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, technicians, and internal teams
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be punctual and available for job task.
