JOB SUMMARY
Prepare and inspect gearbox units including parts/parts orders for shipment to customers while ensuring the units and parts are packaged according to customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
For painted units, remove all tape/prepping material. Add nameplates, assembly lids, hardware as required by order. Package and weigh unit. Using the NORD Gear Warehouse Management System (SAP), prepare shipments. Prepare and package parts orders. Clean work/storage area, check inventories. Assist prep/paint area when requested. Other duties as requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
1-2 years preferred but not required. Experience utilizing SAP preferred. Experience with 5S.
Skills and Key Attributes:
Ability to read/write. Basic math skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for 8 -10 hours/day.
