- Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, both in-person and over the phone, to assess their needs and provide assistance.
- Product Knowledge:
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of our product inventory, including specifications, compatibility, and applications, to effectively advise customers.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in the organization and stocking of parts, ensuring inventory levels are maintained and accurately recorded.
- Order Processing:
- Accurately process customer transactions, including quotations, sales orders, and returns, using our point-of-sale system.
- Problem Solving:
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns efficiently, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the service and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive customer experience.
- Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive or industrial parts sales is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory management.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software related to sales and inventory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or sales training is a plus.
