Parts Associate - Maintenance Department Sterling Foods - 3.2 San Antonio, TX Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Computer operation High school diploma or GED Computer skills Full Job Description Sterling Foods is seeking a Parts Associate to join our organization! The Parts Associate reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for maintaining stock of all parts/supplies in the shop. The Parts Associate ensures that the shop team members have the parts and supplies they need to keep production running smoothly and on schedule. Responsibilities Accurately purchase and receive all parts and supplies for the shop Maintain a limited stock on approved parts for the shop, and locating available parts if inventory is out of stock Maintain cleanliness and organization in the parts room, parts shelves and the various supply bins Keep and maintain an efficient and organized filing system for purchase orders, part requisitions and work orders Create and process damage and warranty repair work orders Enter equipment maintenance records Regularly communicate with the Maintenance Manager regarding vendor issues, back order parts, damage and warranty repairs Maintain a neat and organized workspace May be required to help load/unload and pick-up equipment or parts Develop and maintain effective and professional relationships with vendors Required Skills and Experience Familiarity with manufacturing equipment /food industry preferred Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Computer literate Fluency in the English language, verbal and written Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish) High school diploma or equivalent Physical Exertion required. Including, but not limited to: walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
