Parts Representative What is the job? Our Parts Representative supports customer sales, internal service parts requests, warehousing activity, and shipping and receiving. Additionally, our Parts Representatives ensure inventory control, confirm stock orders and follow all administrative procedures during the sales process, for both over the counter parts and service parts requests.
Job Responsibilities:
Service parts quoting, sales and activities Proactive responsiveness and follow up to technician & customer service requests Prioritize service needs and part availability to minimize equipment downtime Manage parts inventory movement & maintain accurate inventory levels Process and track warranty part returns Participate in inventory control processes and perform cycle counts when assigned Perform receiving administrative duties for the parts department to ready for posting Work with the Inventory manager on system inventory maintenance, shipping and receiving functions, if needed Provide parts directly to service technicians through field deliveries or staging Inventory stocking, facing, and organization Identify service issues proactively and communicate potential delays or discrepancies before they impact service response time
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years parts customer service experience Experience with a customer first culture focused on responsiveness, accountability and results High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. Order taking experience via phone, email, electronic process in a service industry Knowledge of internal combustion engines, electrical theory, electrical components in an engine-based package, and process of parts selling to service-based customers Parts department operational knowledge and understanding of financial and inventory management terminology such as mark-up, margin, cycle counting, inventory, non-inventory, special orders, purchase order policies, and inventory receiving Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving processes Customer service skills and phone etiquette related to parts selling, research and problem solving in a fast-paced service environment Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Excellent Computer skills Familiarity w/ Priority (ERP) systems is a plus This role requires a mix of time at a desk and moving around the warehouse and parts storage area. The employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places on ladders, outdoor weather conditions and vibration, and a generally moderate noise. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Competitive Hourly Rate:
Pay range for this role is $23-25/hr, dependent upon experience §
