Inventory Stores Clerk The Aviation Inventory Stores Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely handling of inventory, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving of parts and materials. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound time management, and strict adherence to established processes to ensure inventory accuracy and operational reliability, including during fast-paced or high-stress conditions Department Stores / Inventory Reports To Lead Stores Clerk / Stores Supervisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Pick, pack, and prepare parts and materials for shipment, verifying part numbers, batch/lot numbers, and quantities against paperwork. Receive incoming shipments; inspect for damage, verify contents against packing lists and purchase orders, and log discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory records and stock locations using the applicable inventory management system. Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Organize and maintain the stockroom/warehouse to ensure items are easily located, properly labeled, and stored per requirements. Complete all shipping and receiving paperwork accurately and thoroughly, including required checklists (e.g., carrier shipping checklists). Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts where certified) safely and correctly. Operate a company or airport-authorized vehicle on airport property, including the Air Operations Area (AOA)/ramp, as needed to support stores operations, in full compliance with AvDyne's Airfield Driving Training Policy and all posted airfield signage, speed limits, and flagger direction. Communicate and coordinate with other departments to resolve stock, shipping, or receiving issues. Follow all safety, quality, and compliance procedures applicable to stores operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in inventory, stores, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or a similar inventory specialist role preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a high-consequence environment. Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Valid driver's license required. This role may require operating a vehicle on airport-controlled property, including the AOA, and completion of all onboarding and recurrent training required under AvDyne's Airfield Driving Training Policy Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-stress or time-sensitive situations as they arise. Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly and professionally to accurately process paperwork, follow instructions, and communicate with team members and other departments. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and other standard business/office software, in addition to inventory management or ERP systems. Willingness to participate in all required company and vendor-sponsored trainings, including trainings conducted outside the local area; some travel may be required. Reliable attendance and punctuality.

TRAINING & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Airfield Driving:

Employees who are authorized or required to drive on airport property must hold a valid driver's license and complete AvDyne's Airfield Driving Training Policy, including onboarding driver authorization and annual recurrent training, as a condition of continued driving privileges.

Dangerous Goods/Hazmat and Human Factors Airlines Training:

Employees selected to attend Airlines training, typically conducted out of the local area for approximately one week, are required to attend for the full duration as a condition of employment. AvDyne provides airfare, hotel accommodations, a daily per diem, and pay for time spent in training. Attendance at all required training is mandatory; failure to attend or complete assigned training may result in corrective action.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (training/certification provided as required).

Pay:

$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 48.0 per week
