AM Position Summary:

The Parts Crib Clerk manages the acquisition of parts, tools, and materials for facility maintenance, including inventory control, vendor communication, and processing purchase orders . They utilize MP2 for workorders and machine information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Purchasing & Procurement:

Order MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) supplies, create purchase orders (POs), and solicit vendor quotes.

Inventory Control:

Monitor, track, and organize parts room inventory; perform cycle counting to ensure adequate stock.

Vendor Management:

Communicate with suppliers to schedule deliveries, track shipments, and resolve order discrepancies.

Data Entry :

Utilize MP2 for work orders and inventory control and access for purchasing.

Receiving:

Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, matching invoices to purchase orders.

Collaboration:

Work with maintenance, production, and accounting teams to ensure budgetary goals are met. Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Computer skills required. Background in maintenance operations is preferred. A background working with MP2 systems or similar preferred. Ability to operate a forklift preferred but will train if needed. Follow all PPE (personal protective equipment) and safety requirements such as bonding and grounding.
