Consignment & Repair Management SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing consignment services and repair management administrative support functions. This position's consignment duties include: communicating with internal employees and the different consignors; works closely with the sales team to process consignment materials needed for repair either in-house or an outside vendor; finds vendors and repair costs for outside work, processes approvals, works with the shop leads on getting material completed, follows up with outside vendor on a weekly basis, collects shipping charges for all outside work, and makes sure exchange cores are received back in a timely fashion.
Repair Management duties include:
communication with the material owner; processing quotes/approvals for their material, and keeps track of material if they have an advanced exchange program. This position reports to the Repair Management & Consignment Manager and backs up the department as necessary. The position is highly visible and responsible for decision making that may have a significant impact on the organization's earnings, operations and image.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with all aspects of the consignment programs by processing material that is needed for repair, processing approvals, work closely with outside vendors on approvals and material return, look up shipping charges in Fedx site, keep track of inventory, follow up with the sales department on exchange core returns. Work with in-house shops on discrepancies and delays. Assist with all aspects of the Repair Management program by directly interfacing with the material owners, creating repair orders for units that have been received, finding vendors on units that we don't have capability on, create quotes to send to the material owners, obtain approvals, providing necessary reports, and create/process invoicing on a weekly basis. Troubleshoot, resolve and respond to data discrepancies and internal and external customer questions or issues in an expedited manner. Manage or assist in assigned special projects pertaining to consignment. Back up department as necessary and perform other duties as assigned. Adhere to all policies and regulations. Report to work on a regular and consistent basis.
REQUIRED ABILITY TO

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. Three (3) years of work experience in an office administration setting performing data entry and providing internal and external customer service. Any combination of education and experience to demonstrate proficiency.
DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business in a related field from an accredited institution. Familiarity with FAA 145 Repair Station environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Frequent work in office environment. Occasional work in production setting. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
