Job Description

Parts Counter -- Lewiston/Clarkston Knife River Corporation United States, Washington, Clarkston 2651 Wilma Road (Show on map) Aug 28, 2026 Description Responsibilities included, but are not limited to the following: Oversee parts rooms including cleanliness, organization, and reduction of non-utilized parts Maintains and organizes parts inventory and shop supplies for stocked items Send out and receive freight in Checks in and receives orders into computer database including scanning packing slips Work with outside vendors for stocking orders for the shop Pickup/deliver parts as needed Pickup/deliver vehicles to outside vendors for repairs as needed Restock service lube truck with oil, filters, and coolant Organize and cleaning of the shop and yard around the outside of the shop Communicates directly with the shop manager daily Performs a variety of other tasks as directed Must be willing to learn how to safely operate small forklift to load and unload freight (forklift training provided)
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid driver's license High school diploma or equivalent Familiarity with office equipment Communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of team members and vendors required Experience or knowledge of equipment maintenance strategies and parts procurement or parts inventory is a plus How to
