Parts Specialist - La Crosse, WI Job Type - Full Time (40-45 hours per week) Johnson Tractor is looking for a Parts Specialist to join our team in La Crosse, WI! As a Parts Specialist , you will help customers identify and purchase the parts they need, assist with parts sales and orders, maintain inventory, and keep our parts department organized and professional. Experience with agricultural, heavy equipment, automotive, or other equipment parts is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate. What You'll Do Assist customers in person and over the phone with identifying and purchasing parts. Ask questions and use your mechanical knowledge to determine the appropriate parts or solutions for customer needs. Look up parts using manufacturer catalogs and software systems to identify part numbers, availability, and pricing. Recommend alternative parts or solutions when an exact part is unavailable. Provide knowledgeable, friendly customer service and build strong customer relationships. Suggest related parts, products, or preventative maintenance items when appropriate. Receive, process, organize, and stock incoming parts. Fill and prepare customer parts orders accurately and efficiently. Process sales transactions, receipts, payments, returns, exchanges, and refunds. Maintain accurate parts inventory and participate in inventory counts. Properly label, locate, and organize parts throughout the department. Maintain clean, organized, and professional parts displays and storage areas. Inspect returned parts and process returns according to company procedures. Stay current on parts, products, manufacturer information, and available training. Deliver or pick up parts and orders at off-site locations as needed. What We're Looking For Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to help customers. Mechanical aptitude and an interest in equipment, machinery, or how things work. Ability to accurately identify parts and understand customer descriptions of equipment issues. Comfortable using computers and willing to learn manufacturer parts software and catalogs. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to lift and move parts and packages of varying weights. Valid driver's license and ability to make occasional parts deliveries. Previous experience in agricultural equipment parts, heavy equipment parts, automotive parts, equipment dealerships, parts sales, inventory, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
