Role Summary La Farge Truck Center is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Parts Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as a point of contact for customers seeking parts, accessories, and general repair information. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by building lasting relationships, accurately identifying customer needs, assisting with coordinating parts procurement, and supporting the service team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and committed to creating a positive experience for every customer. Key Responsibilities Greet customers in person and over the phone with professionalism and a customer-first attitude. Build strong relationships with customers by providing knowledgeable, honest, and dependable service. Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their vehicles and equipment. Answer questions regarding parts availability, pricing, warranties, and estimated delivery times. Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to ensure parts are available for scheduled repairs. Order parts from vendors while balancing quality, availability, and cost. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory to ensure accuracy. Process special orders, returns, warranty claims, and core returns. Maintain accurate inventory records and help monitor stock levels. Enter purchase orders, invoices, and inventory transactions into the shop management system. Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department. Support the Parts Manager and assist with general administrative and clerical duties as needed. Essential Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, automotive parts, diesel parts, or a related industry preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping customers. Ability to build trust and maintain positive customer relationships. Basic knowledge of automotive or diesel truck parts and systems is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with computers and inventory or point-of-sale software. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when handling parts and inventory. Desired Qualities Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
