We are seeking a Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team. As a Parts Counter Salesperson, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right parts for their vehicles or equipment, providing excellent customer service, and generating sales. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting the growth of our business. If you have a passion for sales, excellent customer service skills, and solid knowledge of semi truck and trailer parts, we would love to hear from you! to join our team as a Parts Counter Salesperson and contribute to our success. Hourly rate range - $20-$26 depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in identifying their parts needs Recommend and sell parts and accessories to meet customers' requirements Provide accurate product information and technical advice Process customer orders and handle transactions at the counter Maintain inventory and ensure availability of parts Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing parts in the warehouse Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to meet customer needs Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends Deliver and Pick up parts in/out of town Meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team Promptly and accurately complete all paperwork and handle tax certificates
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods Bend, stoop, and reach when handling parts and equipment Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in sales, preferably in a semi truck parts or an industrial industry Strong knowledge of automotive parts and equipment Exceptional customer service skills Must have a valid Drivers License Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Attention to detail and accuracy
