Mazz NYC partners with prominent retailers to deliver curated assortments that align with market demand while preserving brand integrity and exclusivity. Interns joining the team gain exposure to the luxury wholesale supply chain, inventory operations, and the dynamics of a fast paced, client focused environment. Role Description The Wholesale Internship is an on-site role based in New York, NY, with part-time and full-time schedules available. Interns will support the wholesale team with day-to-day operational tasks, including maintaining spreadsheets for inventory, orders, and pricing, reconciling inventory and flagging discrepancies, and calculating margins and researching MSRP across retailers and product categories. Interns will also help prepare line sheets and order summaries for the sales team, assist with packing and preparing outbound orders, and provide general support to the wholesale team as needed. This role offers hands-on experience in luxury wholesale operations, exposure to inventory and margin management, and an opportunity to learn how a luxury business runs behind the scenes. Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple data and inventory tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with spreadsheets, formulas, and basic data organization
- Interest in retail math, pricing, and margins, with the ability to learn and apply company pricing guidelines
- Detail oriented, with a high level of accuracy when handling inventory, pricing, and order data
- Willingness to assist with physical tasks such as packing and preparing outbound orders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with the sales and operations teams
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant undergraduate program (e.
g., Business, Finance, Fashion Merchandising) is preferred
Hourly Rate:
$20 per hour
