This position is ideal for someone with experience packing and shipping a variety of merchandise who can work independently and take ownership of their responsibilities. Responsibilities Pack and prepare auction items for shipment Safely package fragile, oversized, and high-value items Prepare freight shipments and coordinate items for pickup Load, move, and organize packages and freight throughout the facility Select appropriate packing materials and methods based on the item Ensure items are properly secured to prevent damage during transit Process and organize outgoing shipments Maintain a clean and organized shipping area Work efficiently while meeting shipping deadlines Follow established packing and shipping procedures Communicate any shipping issues or damaged items to management Requirements Part-time position Must be able to lift and carry 75+ lbs Previous experience packing and shipping items is required/preferred Experience preparing and handling freight shipments Able to work independently without constant supervision Strong attention to detail and care when handling merchandise Reliable, punctual, and dependable Able to work in a fast-paced, physical environment Good organizational and time-management skills Comfortable being on your feet and performing physical work throughout the shift Ability to safely handle a variety of items, including large, heavy, and fragile merchandise Previous auction house, warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience is a plus The Right Fit We're looking for someone who takes initiative, works efficiently, and doesn't need to be constantly supervised . You should be comfortable figuring out the best way to safely pack and ship different types of merchandise while maintaining accuracy and organization.
