Job Description

We're hiring 5-7 new Brand Ambassadors for our Costa Mesa team this summer — and we're moving fast. Interviews Tuesday. Read this if you're an athlete, a competitor, or someone who knows the difference between a job and a grind. School's out. The summer is yours.
The question is:
are you going to spend it driving for DoorDash and watching your friends from back home stack money — or are you going to use these 12 weeks to actually build something? We don't want to be your random summer job. We want to be the off-season that levels you up. The Role in One Sentence You'll be in the field across Orange County, representing some of the country's most respected nonprofits face-to-face — telling great stories, connecting with the right people, and getting paid weekly for every supporter you sign up. Why This Hits Different This isn't cold-calling. Not door-to-door. You're set up at events, retail partners, and community spots in OC where people already want to talk to you. Your job is to tell a great story, listen well, and close. It's the same skill stack that wins in sports, business, and life — but most people never get a chance to develop it on the clock, with real coaching, while actually earning. That's what this is. We train you like a pro athlete trains to compete
  • only instead of medals we reward with money: Morning practice in the office (training, role-play, film review) Game-time in the afternoon (field reps) Daily practice and live coaching Weekly stats so you always know where you stand The reps who treat this like a sport win.
The reps who treat it like a part-time gig don't last 30 days. Self-selecting is healthy. The Comp (No Fluff) Base + commission: $800
  • 1,000/week take-home, paid every Friday Top performers (within 90 days): $1,200
  • 1,500+/week Leadership track: Top 20% promote to team lead in 4-8 months ($60K
  • 80K/yr range) No cap on earnings.
Your scoreboard, your paycheck. In the NIL era you already know your worth. We pay you like it. Who Wins Here Our top earners share a profile: Current and former college athletes (D1, D2, JUCO, club — all welcome) High school athletes 18+ heading into freshman year Ex-servers and bartenders who carried double shifts on Saturday nights Gym rats, CrossFit competitors, BJJ players, Weekly Run clubbers Military and former military Performers, dancers, actors who've spent years getting told "no" and showing up Monday anyway Anyone who grew up working for their money Common traits: They take coaching like an Olympic prospect takes notes from a coach They can hear "no" and ask for the next "yes" without flinching They show up on time. Every. Time. They want to win — and they want to be paid for winning

  • 6:30 PM (weekends optional, never required)
Mornings:

You'll Stand Out If You:
Played a competitive sport at any level (high school, JUCO, college, club, intramural — all count) Worked in hospitality, retail, or anything commission-based Have ever been ranked, drafted, recruited, or recognized for something competitive Are a recent grad (Class of 2026 — welcome aboard) About Pono "Pono" is Hawaiian for doing the right thing.
