About the Opportunity Vérité Talent is building its San Diego team and is seeking passionate, polished Brand Ambassadors to represent a portfolio of premium brands across skincare, wellness, makeup and fragrance inside select retail locations. This is multi-brand freelance work. One week you may be representing a clean skincare line; the next, a niche fragrance house or a wellness brand at a different door. The brands vary, the schedule is flexible, and you choose the assignments you take. It suits someone already working in beauty who wants additional days, or someone who prefers variety to a single counter.

Requirement:

A reliable car. San Diego doors are spread out and assignments move between them What You'll Do Represent one brand at a time on the floor, as its face for the day Engage customers through personalized consultations and product education Drive brand awareness and sales through authentic storytelling Build strong relationships with store teams and beauty advisors so the brand is supported between visits Keep testers, stock and display in good order File a short post-shift report through our portal — what sold, customer reactions, product feedback and a few photos What We're Looking For Prior experience in beauty retail, brand ambassador, skincare, makeup or fragrance roles Polished, confident and customer-focused presence Genuine curiosity across categories — skincare, wellness, makeup and fragrance Ability to work independently and represent a brand without daily supervision Existing relationships with local store teams are a plus Reliable, punctual and professional in all client-facing interactions A reliable car and a smartphone Weekend availability Authorization to work in the United States Brand-specific training is provided before every new assignment. You are not expected to arrive knowing our brands. Compensation & Status This is a 1099 independent contractor position. You set your own availability, accept or decline each assignment with no penalty, and remain free to work with other clients and agencies. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes. Payment is processed bi-weekly via direct deposit , tracked in your own Vérité Talent portal. Mileage is reimbursed at the current IRS rate when an assignment is more than 25 miles from your home.
