October 2-4, 2026 Temporary Event Opportunity Beacon Hill's client is seeking energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused Brand Ambassadors to support a large local festival in Des Moines. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with the public, creating positive guest experiences, and representing a well-known retail destination. As a Brand Ambassador, you'll engage with attendees, distribute promotional items and coupons, answer general questions, and help maintain a welcoming and organized event space. With an expected attendance of over 30,000 guests, this is a great opportunity for candidates who thrive in fast-paced, people-focused environments. Candidates are welcome to work one shift or multiple shifts throughout the event. Those with availability for multiple days are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Greet and engage event attendees in a friendly and professional manner Distribute promotional materials, giveaways, and coupons Answer general questions and provide information to guests Keep promotional displays stocked and organized Assist with event setup and ongoing booth maintenance Represent Beacon Hill's client professionally throughout the event Work collaboratively with onsite event staff and leadership Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Friendly, engaging, and professional demeanor Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurant, or event settings preferred Comfortable interacting with large groups of people Ability to stand for the duration of the shift Ability to occasionally bend and lift marketing materials and promotional items Reliable and punctual Work Environment Outdoor event setting Rain or shine event Casual attire permitted (jeans, solid-colored top, polo, sneakers, etc.) Onsite support provided throughout the event Available Shifts Thursday, October 2 3:00 PM
