Cecil College is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable part-time Instructor to teach courses in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of AI principles, methodologies, and applications, along with excellent communication and teaching skills. This role involves developing and delivering engaging and informative instruction to students with varying levels of experience, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the academic success of our students. Develop curriculum and ensure it is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with industry best practices and the needs of adult learners. Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions Incorporate practical exercises, real-world case studies, and hands-on projects to enhance learning and skill development. Maintain current knowledge of the rapidly evolving field of AI, incorporating new developments and trends into instruction. Facilitate discussions, answer questions, and provide constructive feedback to learners. Manage the classroom environment effectively to promote a positive and productive learning atmosphere.

Additional responsibilities include:

Supervising and monitoring students' use of tools and equipment. Observing and evaluating students' work to determine progress, providing feedback, and making suggestions for improvement. Maintain attendance and administrative forms. Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of core AI concepts and methodologies. Relevant AI credentials or certifications Proven experience in teaching or training, preferably with adult learners. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in using technology for instruction. Teaching or training experience highly preferred

Schedule:

Instructor needed to teach two in person classes, AI In the Workplace I & II, held at Elkton Station. Classes are held twice a week from 6-9pm in the fall and spring semesters.
