Coughlin's Auctions is seeking a motivated and dependable Auction House Shipping Associate to help prepare, pack, and ship auction items to customers throughout the country. This is a great opportunity to work in a growing auction business where every day is different and you'll handle everything from collectibles and antiques to artwork, household goods, sports memorabilia, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Packing and shipping auction items safely and efficiently after each sale. Carefully wrapping fragile and valuable items to help ensure they arrive safely to customers. Selecting the proper boxes and packing materials for items of varying sizes and weights. Picking and organizing sold items for shipment. Verifying orders and items before packages are shipped. Printing and preparing shipping labels and completing related shipping tasks. Maintaining a clean and organized shipping area throughout the workday. Assisting customers during auction pick-up days as needed. Helping move and organize auction merchandise throughout the auction house. General auction house duties as needed, contributing to a smooth and efficient operation.

Job Requirements:

Ability to work Monday-Saturday (5 days per week). Flexible scheduling options are available. Physical ability to lift, carry, move, and package items of varying sizes and weights. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Strong attention to detail , especially when matching items to customer orders. Ability to safely package fragile, collectible, and valuable merchandise . Tech-savvy , with the ability to quickly learn shipping software and our internet-based auction platform. A team player who is trustworthy, hardworking, dependable, and maintains a positive, friendly attitude. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience :
