We are looking for an outgoing, energetic Bar & Street Team Promoter who knows how to talk to people, make connections, and get people excited about a place. This is not a desk job and not simply a flyer-distribution position. We need someone who enjoys being out in the Arts District, meeting people, talking to businesses, promoting events, and bringing new customers through the door. Schedule Fridays & Saturdays, approximately 4:00 PM-8:00 PM Approximately 8 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours for special events. What you'll do Walk the Arts District and surrounding area and actively promote Bartho's Hand out flyers, promotional cards and event information Talk with people directly and invite them to Bartho's Build relationships with nearby businesses, restaurants, bars, galleries, hotels, shops and other local businesses Arrange mutually beneficial cross-promotions with neighboring businesses Promote our Friday and Saturday events, specials and German beer offerings Help bring groups and new customers into the bar Encourage customers to follow Bartho's on social media Help distribute posters and promotional material before special events Give the GM a short report after each shift with what you did, who you contacted and what opportunities you found Help brainstorm new ways to increase traffic on slower nights You should be: Extremely outgoing and comfortable approaching strangers Friendly, confident and persuasive without being pushy Energetic and comfortable walking around the neighborhood for several hours Good at starting conversations and making genuine connections Social-media savvy Reliable and self-motivated Comfortable representing a small independent business Able to work independently without someone constantly telling you what to do Interested in nightlife, restaurants, beer, events, hospitality or the Las Vegas local scene Previous experience in nightlife promotion, hospitality, sales, event promotion, street teams or social media is a plus—but personality and hustle are more important than a perfect résumé. You will have freedom to try different approaches and we want you to tell us what is working.
