Do you enjoy engaging with people and sharing your enthusiasm for quality, craft beverages? ImpEx Beverages is seeking Tasting Ambassadors to represent our portfolio at liquor stores, festivals, and industry events throughout Western and Upstate New York. As a Tasting Ambassador, you'll be the face of ImpEx Beverages—introducing customers to unique spirits from around the globe, sharing producer stories, and guiding them through tasting experiences. This is a contract, gig-based opportunity perfect for those who see the whisky glass as half full. Key Responsibilities Host in-store tastings and off-site events (e.g., festivals, markets) Transport, set up, and break down tasting equipment and materials Educate customers on our products and supplier stories Promote and sell products at retail events Provide a friendly, professional customer experience Follow all safety and legal compliance guidelines (TTB, NYS Liquor Authority) Make simple cocktails and provide product knowledge (training provided) Perform light operational duties (inventory checks, keep track of bottles sold, etc.) Provide event reports including results and photos Qualifications Must be 21+ years old Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Prior experience in events, promotions, sales, or hospitality Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry preferred Passion for premium craft spirits; whisky knowledge is a plus Excellent Communication and People skills Strong Time Management and Organizational Skills Ability to travel locally with tasting supplies Physical Demands & Working Conditions Physical ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time, stand, and walk frequently. Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, or crawl. Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions: weather, temperature, lighting, and noise as determined by circumstances within the office and warehouse environments and in the establishments that you serve.
