We are looking for energetic and entertaining individuals to join our team as Whatnot Live Auction Hosts / Sales Associates . In this role, you will host live selling shows on Whatnot, showcase general merchandise, interact with viewers in real time, and create an entertaining shopping experience that keeps customers engaged and coming back. The ideal candidate is comfortable on camera, naturally personable, has a good sense of humor, can think quickly, and enjoys selling and interacting with people. Previous livestream or sales experience is a plus, but personality, energy, and willingness to learn are just as important. Responsibilities Host live auction and selling shows on the Whatnot platform. Present and demonstrate general merchandise in an engaging and entertaining manner. Interact with viewers through live chat and build rapport with customers. Encourage bidding, purchases, bundles, and additional sales without being overly aggressive. Maintain high energy and keep viewers entertained throughout live shows. Clearly explain products, pricing, features, and promotions. Answer customer questions during livestreams. Help organize merchandise before and during each show. Keep track of products sold during auctions and assist with inventory accuracy. Work with the team to develop new ideas, promotions, giveaways, and selling strategies. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the business on camera. Ideal Candidate Comfortable speaking and performing in front of a camera. Outgoing, confident, energetic, and personable. Good sense of humor and ability to entertain an audience. Strong communication and sales skills. Able to think quickly and keep conversations flowing during live broadcasts. Reliable and punctual. Comfortable learning about different types of general merchandise. Previous experience in sales, retail, social media, livestreaming, hosting, or customer service is helpful but not required. Experience with Whatnot, TikTok Live, Instagram Live, or similar platforms is a plus. Applicants should be prepared to provide a 2-3 minute video introduction explaining why they would be a great fit for this role. Since this is an on-camera live selling position, the video will help us evaluate communication skills, personality, energy, and comfort in front of the camera.
