About the Role The Sales & Event Specialist serves as one of the primary points of contact for our clients, guiding them through the planning process while helping them select the perfect venue, décor, and event enhancements. This role combines consultative sales with event coordination and requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and committed to outstanding customer service. What You'll Do Sales & Client Experience
- Respond promptly to new inquiries and nurture leads through the sales process.
- Conduct venue tours that inspire clients and showcase CrystalView's unique offerings.
- Build customized event proposals and contracts.
- Recommend venue upgrades, décor, floral, transportation, suites, audiovisual services, signage, and other enhancements.
- Follow up consistently with prospective clients to maximize booking conversions.
- Maintain accurate records within our CRM.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals. Event Planning
- Guide booked clients through each planning milestone.
- Schedule and lead planning meetings and final walkthroughs.
- Review timelines, floor plans, vendor details, and event logistics.
- Coordinate with catering, décor, operations, and banquet teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Assist with rehearsal coordination and event-day support when needed. Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Communicate professionally with vendors and venue partners.
- Collaborate closely with the sales, operations, décor, banquet, and leadership teams.
- Ensure every client feels informed, supported, and excited throughout the planning process. Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain organized event files.
- Prepare banquet event orders and planning documents.
- Track payments and client deadlines.
- Assist with reporting, calendars, and event documentation.
- Support venue marketing initiatives, showcases, and open houses. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in hospitality, weddings, events, or consultative sales.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends during events.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with event management software or CRM systems.
- Wedding or hospitality industry experience.
- Knowledge of food & beverage operations.
