Part-time About Us Caiseal Beer & Spirits Co. is an independently owned brewery and distillery based in Hampton, Virginia. We're looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Brand Ambassador to help grow our presence in Northern Virginia by conducting in-store tastings of our Vintage Gin , a truly one-of-a-kind spirit. Our Vintage Gin starts with our bright, classic gin recipe and is aged in dry red wine barrels for up to two years, creating a spirit unlike anything else currently available on Virginia ABC shelves. About the Position You'll represent Caiseal Beer & Spirits Co. by conducting in-store tastings at Virginia ABC stores throughout Northern Virginia. Tastings are typically scheduled 2-4 times per week and last approximately 2 hours each. This is not a passive sampling position. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys talking with people and isn't afraid to approach customers. The ideal candidate will actively engage shoppers, invite them to sample our product, and create a fun, welcoming experience while educating them about our brand. Our Vintage Gin is unlike anything else currently carried by Virginia ABC, and we're looking for someone who can confidently tell that story and help introduce customers to one of Virginia's most unique craft spirits. Compensation $20/hour (firm) Most tasting shifts are approximately 2 hours Some days may include multiple tastings: Two tastings at the same store (approximately a 5-hour work block), or Two tastings at different stores with approximately one hour between for travel Opportunities for additional hours and expanded responsibilities as the brand continues to grow Please note: Compensation is $20/hour (firm) , and mileage reimbursement is not provided. Washington Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 Store #45: 6230 Rolling Road, Springfield, VA 22152 Store #286: 7555 Linton Hall Road, Gainesville, VA 20155 Responsibilities Conduct in-store tasting demonstrations at assigned Virginia ABC locations Proactively approach customers and enthusiastically invite them to sample our products Educate customers about Caiseal Beer & Spirits Co., our Vintage Gin, and our unique red wine barrel-aging process Share our story while answering customer questions with confidence and enthusiasm Set up and break down tasting stations, including table, tablecloth, signage, cups, promotional materials, and other supplies Transport all required tasting materials to and from each event Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tasting station throughout each shift Represent the company professionally while creating a memorable customer experience Provide feedback regarding customer interactions, product reception, and store activity Maintain regular communication with your supervisor Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Legally able to purchase and serve alcohol in Virginia Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple store locations Comfortable standing for extended periods (minimum 2 hours) Outgoing, personable, and confident initiating conversations with customers Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to lift and transport tasting supplies (light to moderate weight) Previous experience in retail, hospitality, promotions, bartending, serving, or customer service is a plus, but not required Schedule Flexible part-time position Most tastings occur Thursday through Sunday Typically 2-4 tasting events per week , depending on scheduling What We Provide Paid training All tasting supplies and sampling product Flexible scheduling Opportunity to grow with an expanding Virginia craft brewery and distillery Who We're Looking For This position is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting new people, has a positive personality, and isn't shy about starting conversations.
