VABC Stores located in Richmond / Mechanicsville / Henrico / Glen Allen, VA Job Summary Caiseal Beer & Spirits Co., an independently owned brewery and distillery based in Hampton, VA, is seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Brand Ambassador to support our expansion into the Richmond-area market. This role focuses on executing in-store tasting demonstrations for our newly launched Ready-To-Drink canned cocktails (Strawberry Lemonade Fizz and Dutch Mule [Gin, Ginger Beer and Lime]), now available in 10 retail locations across Richmond, Mechanicsville, Henrico, and Glen Allen. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with customers, takes initiative, and is excited to help grow a craft beverage brand. Tastings are scheduled 2-3 times per week and run approximately 2 hours each. All sampling product is provided by the company. The right candidate will actively approach customers, create a welcoming tasting experience, and drive product awareness and sales within each store. Duties & Responsibilities Conduct in-store tasting demonstrations at assigned retail locations (2-3 times per week) Proactively engage customers and offer product samples in a friendly, professional manner Educate customers on Caiseal's RTD cocktail offerings, brand story, and product details Identify and approach customers in relevant sections (especially RTD/canned cocktail aisles) Set up and break down tasting stations, including table, signage, and sampling materials Transport all required materials to and from each event (table, tablecloth, cups, swag, etc.) Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tasting area throughout the event Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times Provide feedback on customer interactions, product reception, and store activity when needed Skills & Requirements Must be 21+ with a valid ID and legally able to purchase alcohol in Virginia Reliable transportation to travel between multiple store locations Comfortable standing for extended periods (minimum 2 hours per shift) Outgoing, personable, and confident initiating conversations with customers Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic organization and time management skills Ability to lift and transport tasting materials (light to moderate weight) Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or promotions is a plus, but not required Compensation Hourly pay: $20 per hour Each tasting shift is approximately 2 hours Potential for additional hours and expanded responsibilities as the brand grows in the market Additional Details Part-time, flexible scheduling (typically Thursday through Sunday, with 2-3 tastings per week scheduled within those days) All tasting materials and sampling product are provided by the company Opportunity to grow with an expanding craft beverage company Ideal for individuals interested in craft beer, spirits, or brand marketing
