Fragrance Expert — Niche London Perfume House Nordstrom, Tysons Corner, VA , 15-20 hours per week

• Starting October 2026 About the role A London-based niche fragrance house is looking for a Fragrance Expert to represent its collection at Nordstrom Tysons Corner, VA. This is not a mass-market counter. The collection is small and deliberately so — a handful of artisanal eaux de parfum, composed by internationally recognized perfumers, retailing between roughly $200 and $320. The brand has grown steadily in North America since its launch here, and Century City is one of its priority doors. You would be the face of the house in Washington DC. Most days you will work independently on the floor, which means the person we are looking for is someone who is genuinely happy in that position — confident approaching a stranger, and able to hold a conversation about scent that makes someone want to stay. What you will do Guide clients through the collection, one fragrance at a time, and help them find the one that is theirs Tell the story behind each scent — the perfumer, the materials, the intention Build a personal clientele and follow up with them Keep the counter immaculate: testers, stock, visual merchandising, cleanliness Partner with the Nordstrom beauty team so the brand is supported when you are not there Report weekly on sales, client feedback, and what is moving What we are looking for Experience in fragrance, or in luxury beauty or luxury retail more broadly A real interest in perfume — you do not need to be a trained nose, but you should be curious about it Comfort starting conversations with people who did not come in for you Reliability above all. This is a small team and the counter is empty when you are not there Weekend availability Authorization to work in the United States Formal fragrance training is not required. The brand provides it. Pay scale:
