Auction Photographer & Operations Associate Northern Auction & Estate Services - Rhinelander, WI Full-Time | Flexible Schedule Northern Auction & Estate Services is a growing auction company based in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. As our auction volume continues to grow, we are looking for a dependable, motivated person who wants to become an important part of our team and grow with the company. This is not just a photography position. Photography and preparing items for our online auctions will be a major part of the job, but the right person will also assist throughout the entire auction process. No auction experience is required. We are willing to train the right person who brings a strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. What You'll Do Responsibilities may include: Photographing items for online auctions Taking clear, consistent photos that accurately represent each item Organizing and preparing merchandise for photography and cataloging Identifying important details, markings, model numbers, condition issues, and other information that should be documented Assisting with auction setup and organization Helping customers during auction pickup Locating and organizing purchased items for buyers Providing friendly, professional customer service Assisting with packing and shipping auction purchases Helping load and move merchandise when necessary Assisting with estate, business, and other auction projects at off-site locations Keeping auction and warehouse work areas organized Learning additional parts of the auction process as you gain experience Helping the team wherever needed to successfully complete each auction Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is dependable and shows up ready to work Has a strong work ethic Pays attention to details Can work efficiently without sacrificing quality Is comfortable using a smartphone, camera, and computer Is organized and able to follow established processes Communicates professionally with customers and coworkers Is willing to learn new skills Can work independently as well as part of a team Is comfortable working in different environments, including warehouses, homes, estates, and businesses Is willing to jump in and help wherever needed Photography experience is helpful, but it is not required. We can teach our photography and auction processes. We're more interested in finding someone dependable, motivated, and willing to learn. Because auction work can involve furniture, boxes, equipment, and other merchandise, applicants should be comfortable being on their feet and performing physical tasks throughout the workday. Schedule This is intended to be a full-time position, but we can offer flexibility with scheduling for the right person. Most work takes place during daytime weekday hours. Some auction schedules may occasionally require different hours depending on pickups, deadlines, or special projects.
