Job Description
Arizona Bar Admission Required | Full-Time Newly Licensed Attorneys Encouraged to Apply We are an established Arizona law firm, with a team of seven highly skilled professionals, headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, and serving clients all over the country. We are seeking a personable, motivated attorney to join our team and grow with our practice. Our firm serves clients in tax and related legal matters, and we are expanding our transactional practice in areas including estate planning, trusts, business matters, contracts, and related services. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful hands-on experience, direct client interaction, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop a long-term transactional practice. We are especially interested in someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, preparing high-quality legal work, and building client relationships—and who prefers a transactional practice over a litigation-focused career. Who We're Looking For Legal ability is important, but so are communication, judgment, professionalism, and being a great member of the team.
The right candidate will be:
Actively licensed and in good standing with the Arizona Bar Professional, personable, and comfortable working directly with clients Organized and highly attentive to detail Coachable, curious, and eager to continue learning Receptive to feedback and comfortable working within established firm systems and procedures Collaborative and respectful of attorneys, management, operations professionals, and support staff Comfortable asking thoughtful questions when clarification is needed Dependable and accountable for assignments, communication, and deadlines Interested in estate planning, trusts, transactional law, contracts, tax issues, and related practice areas Interested in building a career and growing with the firm Recent law school graduates and newly admitted Arizona attorneys are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior estate-planning or transactional experience is helpful but not required. For the right candidate, we are willing to provide guidance and mentorship while you develop your skills and experience. We are looking for potential—not simply years of experience. What You'll Do Depending upon experience, responsibilities may include: Assist clients with estate-planning, tax and transactional legal matters Prepare and review trusts, wills, estate-planning documents, contracts, and related legal documents Meet and communicate directly with clients Conduct legal research and analysis Help guide client matters from initial consultation through completion Review documents carefully for accuracy and legal compliance Collaborate with attorneys, management, operations, and support staff Manage assignments and deadlines within established firm systems Help develop additional transactional services and practice areas as the firm continues to grow Why This Opportunity Is Different For an attorney early in their career, finding the right environment to learn can be just as important as finding the right practice area. This position offers the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on legal experience while working with an experienced attorney and established professional team. You will have opportunities to interact directly with clients, develop practical legal skills, and grow your knowledge of estate planning, tax and transactional law. This is not a litigation-focused associate position. We value good communication, accountability, professionalism, mutual respect, and a team environment where everyone understands that providing excellent service to our clients is the priority. We aren't simply looking to fill a position. We're looking for the right attorney to become an important, long-term member of our firm.
