In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property leasing, client communication, and administrative management will ensure a seamless experience for applicants and current tenants alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant community environment while honing your skills in property management and sales. Responsibilities Greet prospective residents promptly and professionally, providing detailed information about available units, amenities, and community features. Conduct property tours, highlighting key features and answering questions to foster interest and trust. Manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately using property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, LIHTC compliance, and landlord-tenant law to ensure legal adherence. Process applications, verify references, and perform background checks with meticulous attention to detail. Handle client communication via phone, email, and in person with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills. Collaborate with team members on leasing strategies, upselling available units or services to maximize occupancy rates. Maintain organized records through data entry, filing, and managing contracts within property management systems. Assist with budgeting tasks related to leasing activities and property maintenance coordination as needed. Resolve conflicts professionally by applying conflict management techniques while ensuring tenant satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles, ideally within a property management company environment. Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC compliance, and facilities management practices. Demonstrated ability to manage lease agreements, contracts, and rental documentation accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a track record of effective client communication and negotiation abilities. Office experience involving data entry, filing systems (including CMMS), and administrative support functions. Ability to handle conflict resolution professionally while maintaining positive relationships with tenants and team members. Experience in sales or upselling within a property or facilities management context is advantageous.
