Sauvey Law Group, APC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing team. As an Associate Attorney, you will work closely with our experienced attorneys to provide exceptional legal services to our clients in the areas of estate planning, trusts, probate, and conservatorships. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious attorney who is passionate about estate planning and seeking to develop their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities may include:
Conducting legal research and analysis on various estate planning and probate issues Assisting with the administration of trusts and probate estates Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and objectives Collaborating with team members to develop and implement effective legal strategies Representing clients in probate court proceedings as needed Propounding and responding to discovery Engaging in litigation strategies and facilitating litigated matters Conducting depositions
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Admission to the California State Bar in good standing 1-3 years of experience in estate planning, trusts, probate, or related areas of law preferred (but not required; willing to hire someone with no legal experience) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Strong attention to detail is required
