We're looking for a sharp, discreet, and highly observant Security Specialist to join our private estate team. This isn't your typical "stand at a gate" job. You'll be ensuring the safety of the Principal, staff, and their guests while maintaining the high-standard atmosphere of the residence. If you have a background in executive protection or law enforcement and pride yourself on being professional yet approachable, you may be a good fit for our firm.Duties Keep Watch:
Monitor CCTV, perimeter sensors, and alarm systems. Conduct regular foot patrols of the grounds.Gatekeeping:
Manage access for visitors, staff, and deliveries, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.Protection:
Provide a physical security presence for the Principal, staff and guests on-site.Emergency Response:
Act as the first responder for medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security breaches.Tech Savvy:
Maintain and troubleshoot residential security technology and maintain computerized records of daily activitiesCollaborate:
Work closely with Principal staff and household staff to ensure daily operations run smoothly without compromising safety.What You Bring Experience:
2+ years in private estate security, executive protection, or related specialized security.Confidence:
The ability to stay calm and make quick, smart decisions during high-stress situations.Discretion:
You understand that "what happens at the estate, stays at the estate." Non-disclosure / confidentiality" is a way of life here.Fitness:
Physically capable of patrolling and standing for extended periods.Certification:
Current BSIS Guard and Firearms licenses, Pepper Spray and CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and a valid CA Class C driver's license with a clean record. Preferences You have a background in defensive driving. Degree in Administration of Justice You're tech-literate. - US citizenship
- 21 years of age at time of application
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Physically fit and in good overall medical and emotional condition
- Must be able to work overtime, night shifts, holidays and weekends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (speak and write fluent English)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to tactfully negotiate conflict and remain flexible
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to brief, defend, persuade, and instruct others on security requirements and policies
- High levels of integrity, trustworthiness, and loyalty.
