Job Description
Assemble (www.assemble.management) is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join its Senior Project Management and Owner Representation team based in Manhattan Beach, California. Assemble has a successful thirteen-year track record focusing on the management of large-scale ground-up and renovation construction projects in the luxury residential market. Projects are managed nationwide. Assemble's principal role is to act as the overall project guide for owners pursuing complex architectural homes. They're most often the longest-term project consultant starting with initial project analysis to finished project turnover. Current project budgets range from $10 to $150M in hard and soft costs and total over $400M portfolio wide. This hire will be responsible for managing clients, architects, designers, engineers, general contractors, and various other consultants for multiple projects at a time. o Budget creation and ongoing maintenance o Schedule creation and ongoing maintenance o Meeting agenda creation and post meeting minutes o Review and mark-up of all plans, schedules, shop drawings, etc. o Consultant RFP and contract review o General contractor trade buy-out review o Invoice review of all hard and soft costs o Site visits including site documentation o Project correspondence via phone, e-mail, text o Various other ad-hoc requirements Assemble has cultivated a nimble and high pace team atmosphere that works hard and enjoys each other. They're pursuing a focused, self-driven, and detailed oriented person with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Assemble values ideas by others and thrives in creating efficiency within their process by empowering team members to propose ideas to make methods more effective and efficient. The ability to read, comprehend, and mark-up architectural, engineering, and other technical plans is required. The position requires competency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, and Outlook and Bluebeam. Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, and other BIM experience is desired, but not required. Experience of five years or more in the management of complex projects for an architecture, engineering, general contractor, or similar company is required. The hire will work from an office in Manhattan Beach and will travel to various project sites as required. Benefits include ten (10) days of Paid-Time-Off for conventional holidays plus ten (10) days of discretionary Paid-Time-Off, Medical, Dental, and Vision plans, mileage reimbursement, cell phone stipend or work cell phone, 401k with a 3% company sponsored match, and Profit Sharing. Compensation based on experience; offers will range between $90,000 and $140,000.
