•Saturday (Weekend rotation required) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Tax Credit Leasing Consultant to join our growing property management team. The ideal candidate will have prior affordable housing experience, strong customer service skills, and a thorough understanding of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance. This position is responsible for leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, maintaining resident relations, and ensuring compliance with all tax credit regulations. Responsibilities
Greet prospective residents and conduct property tours.
Process rental applications and complete resident screenings.
Verify income and household eligibility in accordance with LIHTC guidelines.
Prepare lease agreements and renewal documentation.
Maintain accurate resident files and compliance records.
Assist with recertifications and annual resident renewals.
Respond to resident inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
Track occupancy goals and assist with marketing efforts.
Utilize property management software to maintain leasing records.
Ensure fair housing and company policies are followed at all times.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of apartment leasing experience required.
Previous Tax Credit/LIHTC experience required.
Knowledge of affordable housing compliance regulations.
Strong sales, leasing, and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
