Job Description

Apartment Leasing Specialist Location:
Stanton, CA Schedule:
Full-time, including weekends. Specific days and hours will be discussed during the interview.
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour, plus eligible leasing commissions Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Apartment Leasing Specialist to support the leasing and daily operations of a residential apartment community. This position serves as an important point of contact for prospective and current residents. The Apartment Leasing Specialist conducts property tours, responds to leasing inquiries, processes applications and lease documents, assists with rent collection, and helps maintain accurate resident records. The ideal candidate communicates professionally, follows through on responsibilities, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys helping people find a place to call home. This is a full-time, onsite position with an established property management company offering opportunities for professional growth.
Job Responsibilities The Showroom Experience:
Project a polished, professional performance while conducting property tours and converting prospective leads into residents.
Tenant Relationship Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for residents, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to provide elite service and resolve inquiries.
Operational & Financial Support:
Execute essential administrative and bookkeeping tasks, including rent collection, lease processing, and maintaining accurate resident files.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively within a team environment to ensure the property meets both aesthetic standards and high occupancy goals.
Adaptation:
Respond quickly and effectively to the changing needs of a fast-paced, "ever-changing" residential environment.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Previous experience in a customer service environment is required. Prior experience in sales or leasing is a significant plus.
Professional Presence:
Ability to project a polished performance and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Administrative & Financial Aptitude:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to learn bookkeeping tasks, handle data entry accurately, and assist with rent collection processes
Self-Management:
Must be results-oriented, self-paced, and self-driven to meet leasing and occupancy targets.
Soft Skills:
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to interact effectively and empathetically with diverse groups of people.
Technical Skills:
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn property management software quickly.
Agility:
The ability to adapt and respond efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Physical:
Must be able to independently lift, carry, or maneuver up to 25 lbs., and up to 50 lbs. with assistance Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay range for this position is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour . Actual starting pay will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors.
