Job Description

Pelican Bluff Apartments is seeking a capable and motivated Leasing Agent to support the successful lease-up, growth, and profitability of our multi-family residential community. This role is critical in driving occupancy through proactive leasing efforts, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating a strong first impression for prospective residents. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, iPhone/iOS, and Adobe Acrobat 3. Familiarity with standard office equipment (computers, phones, printers, etc.) Drive 1. Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow 2. Works effectively with minimal supervision 3. Willing to go above and beyond and take on additional responsibilities Responsibilities 1. Present the property and its amenities in a positive and professional manner to prospective tenants 2. Advertise available units across various media and marketing platforms 3. Assess the needs and housing requirements of prospective tenants 4. Process rental applications, screen applicants, and negotiate lease terms 5. Serve as a liaison between tenants, corporate staff, property owners, and regulatory agencies 6. Stay informed on housing industry trends and local market conditions 7. Support maintenance operations by issuing work orders, conducting periodic inspections, and scheduling service appointments 8. Perform additional duties as assigned Physical Demands 1. Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, run, and climb stairs 2. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions 3. Ability to remain in a typical office setting for extended periods 4. Ability to work on short notice based on business needs Qualifications 1. Previous experience in property management is a plus 2. Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices preferred 3. Familiarity with Fair Credit and Equal Housing regulations is a plus Benefits 1.
