Duties Plan and organize diverse recreational activities, including arts and crafts, music therapy, games, outings, and special events that cater to residents' interests and abilities Assist with the development of activity schedules that balance engagement with residents' health conditions and personal preferences Facilitate group activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and physical movement in accordance with individual care plans Collaborate with nursing staff and caregivers to ensure activities align with residents' medical needs, such as Alzheimer's or dementia care requirements Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as mobility assistance, dressing, or grooming during activities Maintain accurate records of participation, resident feedback, and activity outcomes to support personalized care plans Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages residents' independence and enhances their quality of life through creative engagement Skills Strong background in event planning and recreational therapy within assisted living or nursing home settings Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring memory or dementia care Excellent communication skills to effectively engage residents and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of aging issues counseling and social work principles to support residents' emotional well-being Ability to assist with ADLs and manage activity schedules efficiently Compassionate caregiving approach combined with patience and adaptability in dynamic environments Familiarity with long-term care practices, home & community care experience preferred Join us in making a difference by enriching residents' lives through engaging activities that inspire joy, connection, and dignity.
