Full-Time Temporary Apartment Leasing Agent /
Administrative Assistant Location:
Vernon, CT Employment Type:
Full-Time, Temporary Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8-5pm, Saturday 9-3pm
Pay:
$25 per hour
Position Duration:
September 2026-mid January 2027 Position Overview We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Apartment Leasing Agent / Administrative Assistant to join our property management team on a full-time temporary basis. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents while assisting with leasing activities, administrative duties, resident communication, and daily office operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is detail-oriented, and can manage multiple priorities in a property management environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist prospective and current residents in a professional and welcoming manner. Respond to phone calls, emails, and leasing inquiries promptly. Schedule and conduct apartment tours. Explain apartment features, availability, pricing, policies, and community amenities. Assist prospective residents with rental applications and required documentation. Follow up with prospective residents and maintain accurate leasing records. Assist with move-in and move-out coordination. Prepare and maintain resident files, correspondence, and other administrative paperwork. Enter and update information in property management and leasing software- AppFolio. Process and organize applications, leases, notices, and other documents. Assist with rent-related administrative tasks and resident account inquiries. Communicate maintenance requests to the appropriate team members. Maintain an organized and professional leasing office. Provide exceptional customer service and help create a positive resident experience. Perform other administrative and property-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Professional appearance and a friendly, customer-focused attitude. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and computer-based systems. Ability to multitask and work independently while supporting a team. Previous leasing or property management software experience is a plus but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is energetic, dependable, professional, personable, and comfortable interacting with residents and prospective tenants. The successful candidate will be able to balance leasing responsibilities with administrative work and provide consistent, high-quality service. Temporary Position Benefits Full-time schedule- 40 hours per week.
